The service

AI Inspector Lab provides tools that inspect content for indicators of AI generation. Results are probabilistic estimates and evidence. They are not proof of authorship and must not be the sole basis for decisions affecting any person, including academic, employment or legal decisions.

Your content

You retain all rights to content you submit. You confirm you are entitled to submit it and grant us a limited licence to process it to provide the service.

Acceptable use

  • Do not submit content you have no right to process, or malware intended to harm the service.
  • Do not use the website inspector to probe systems you are not authorised to access, or to circumvent rate limits.
  • Do not resell access or attempt to reverse-engineer detection providers through the service.

API keys

You are responsible for keeping API keys confidential and for activity performed with them. Revoke compromised keys immediately.

Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of inspection results or for indirect damages.
