Why are free website and repository scans public?
Free scans of public websites and GitHub repositories feed the public Explorer, which helps other people check the same sources. Only public sources are listed, and no account details are shown. Pasted text, uploaded files and images are never published on any plan.
What does private mean on Pro and Team?
Your website and repository scans are never added to the Explorer or the sitemap. Reports are visible only to you, unless you create an expiring share link.
What can I inspect for free?
Text, public websites and GitHub repositories - with or without an account. Text checks are unlimited and never published; website and repository results are listed in the public Explorer. Document, image and code inspections are included with Pro and Team.
Why are text checks unlimited?
Without a connected AI detection provider, text checks run on built-in evidence (structure, style signals and highlighted phrases) that costs nothing to run, so they do not count toward your monthly inspections. If a detection provider is connected, text checks count like any other inspection.
Can the Free plan use the API or Compare?
No. The REST API and Compare are included with Pro and Team. The Free plan includes the dashboard, website and repository scans and PDF/JSON reports.
What counts as an inspection?
Each submission - a text, file, website (up to 10 pages) or repository - counts as one inspection, whether made in the dashboard or through the API.
Are detection model costs included?
Workspaces connect their own detection providers. Provider charges, if any, are billed by that provider.
