AI Website Detector

Inspect a website’s copy, structure and images

Submit a page or let the inspector follow same-site links. Each page is fetched safely, stripped of navigation and scripts, analysed section by section, and its images are checked for generator metadata and Content Credentials.

What the inspector checks

Section-level analysis

Text is grouped under each page heading so findings point to the part of the page they concern.

Metadata and structure

Titles, descriptions, generator tags, Schema.org types and heading structure are reported per page.

AI site-builder signals

Generator tags from AI website builders are flagged as platform evidence - distinct from who wrote the copy.

Image provenance

Up to eight images are fetched and checked for C2PA credentials and AI-tool metadata.

Who uses it

  • SEO teams auditing content farms
  • Brand protection and affiliate review
  • Due diligence on acquisition targets
  • Journalists researching sites

AI Website Detector FAQ

How do you fetch pages safely?

Every URL and redirect hop is validated: only public addresses on standard ports, all DNS answers checked, redirects limited and responses size-capped.

Does the inspector identify itself?

Yes, it sends the AIInspectorLabBot user agent.

Can I inspect my intranet?

No. Internal and private network addresses are blocked by design.
