Privacy Policy
Last updated November 4, 2026
This policy explains what AI Inspector Lab collects when you use AIInspectorLab.com and how it is handled.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and a salted hash of your password.
- Inspected content: text, files, URLs and repository links you submit, and the reports generated from them.
- Usage data: counts of inspections, API requests and report exports, used for quotas and billing.
- Security data: hashed identifiers used for rate limiting. Raw IP addresses are not stored.
How we use it
We use your data to provide inspections, maintain your history, enforce limits and secure the service. We do not sell personal data and do not use your submitted content to train models.
Public reports
On the Free plan and in guest sessions, scans of public websites and public GitHub repositories create or refresh a public report in the Explorer, which may be indexed by search engines. These reports show only the inspected site or repository - never your name, email or account. Pasted text, uploaded files and images are never published. Pro and Team scans are always private.
Detection providers
When a detection model is configured for a content type, the relevant content is sent to that provider solely to compute a score. Provider processing is governed by the provider’s own terms.
Retention & deletion
- Uploaded files are deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Deleting an inspection removes its stored input, upload and report immediately and revokes its share links.
- Deleting your account revokes all sessions and API keys and removes your inspections from use.
Cookies
We use a strictly necessary, HttpOnly session cookie and a non-identifying cookie indicating that you are signed in. The theme preference is stored in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can access, export (JSON reports) and delete your data from the dashboard, or contact us at hello@aiinspectorlab.com.
